Deus Scientia et Caritas--God is Knowledge and Love.

Hayden High School was founded as Assumption High School in 1911 by Father Francis Hayden, pastor of Assumption Parish in Topeka, Kansas. The school is operated by the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas.

Mission Statement

Hayden High School exists to support students and families in cultivating a Roman Catholic faith community based on prayer, Gospel virtues, and Christian Service. Together, in a setting of academic excellence, we celebrate the dignity of every person and the presence of Christ within each of us.

Our New Website

Welcome to Hayden High School’s updated website.  The technology committee, a group of alumni, administrators and parents established through the school’s visioning process in January 2009, have spent the past few months redesigning the site and transitioning content to provide students, parents, faculty, alumni and perspective members of the Hayden family with easier access to timely information.

New drop down menus help you find what you’re looking for fast, from academic achievements and athletic announcements to upcoming events and curriculum enhancements.  Additional photos, video, sections and functionality will soon be added, including online payments for student fees, donations and spirit-wear purchases.  Please let us know what you think.  Send comments and ideas to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
