Welcome to Hayden High School athletic/activities programs.  The school mission statement and athletic philosophy are the cornerstone of our program.  It is our firm belief that athletics/activities play a significant role in the total educational process.  The world of interscholastic athletics/activities provides many experiences for learning and growth.  Remember, participation in school sponsored athletic programs is a privilege and not a right.

Hayden High School exists to support students and families in cultivating a Roman Catholic faith community based on prayer, Gospel virtues, and Christian Service.  Together, in a setting of academic excellence, we celebrate the dignity of every person and the presence of Christ within each of us.

 PHILOSOPHY

Participation in extracurricular activities at Hayden High School is a privilege and an integral part of the educational process.  Participants will be exposed to and expected to develop values such as self-discipline, courage, loyalty, humility, integrity and cooperation.  These activities should be a continuation of the basic school objectives:  To develop the moral, physical and spiritual growth of each participant.  Athletics/activities at Hayden are an extension of the classroom and are expected to be conducted with the same manner and expectations.  They should also foster the Christian principles of our faith.
