A Letter from the President
High school is a transformative experience for all students as they face academic, social and extracurricular challenges and opportunites that enable them to develop new abilities and expand their understanding of themselves and the world they live in. So how do we choose the best high school to attend? That's the question confronting many students and parents in the coming months.
Many schools offer enticing features that compell students to consider their campuses, from rigorous academic programs and state-of-the-art technology to well-appointed athletic facilities and performance stages. In Topeka, we are truly blessed to have many excellent options. However, I hope that after studying the options, consulting friends and family and prayerfully reflecting on the best overall environment for your child, you will consider Hayden as the best choice.
Hayden's academic programs are nationally recognized, our athletic teams and scholars have won state titles and our music and drama participants have received numerous awards for their performances. However, at Hayden your child will also receive the gift of religious instruction to foster faith and community service opportunities to build compassion in the company of faculty and peers who embody core values of respect for self and others.
At Hayden, we strive to develop the whole person, an individual who will enter the world after graduation as a confident, faithful leader and a critical, creative thinker attuned to the needs of others and eager to embrace responsibility for making the world a better place. How they live their faith, love one another and raise their families will say much about the virtues we, as parents and educators, instilled in them.
We wish you God's blessings as you make your decision and encourage you to visit our campus to learn more about what Hayden offers.
Sincerely in Christ, Rick Strecker President
