Hayden High School's measure of success is the development of the whole person. We believe that academic growth is key to the development of our students. The administration and teaching staff promote high Catholic standards of learning in the classroom and insist on an environment where students can flourish.
Hayden offers classes for all students. There are course offerings for students needing individualized instruction as well as advanced and college classes for students who strive to excel academically. Hayden High School requires 28 credits for graduation. In addition to the required credits it is suggested that students complete the Kansas Board of Regents Qualified Admissions Curriculum and the Kansas Scholars Curriculum.
Hayden offers an extensive extra-curricular program. Approximately 85% of the student population is involved in one or more activities, including: 21 sports, instrumental music, jazz band, vocal music, dramatics, debate, forensics, International Club, newspaper, yearbook, cheerleading, dance team, scholar bowl, SADD, Pro-Life Club, National Honor Society, FBLA and student council.
